RULES FOR MADCAO TOURNAMENT AT GOLF COURSES
The rules for this weeks men’s club tournament at Course are as follows:
1) USGA Rules are in force.
2) Golf Course rules are enforce.
3) MADCAO Men’s club rules are enforce.
4) Teeing off the White tees
5) This event is = Ind. Stroke Play
6) You must putt out, there are no givemies.
7) If there is any question in your group if your ball is safe you must hit a
provisional shot.
8) Any white stakes are out of bounds and you must tee off again or if it
happens on any subsequent shot after your tee shot you must drop and hit from
the same place. You must take a penalty stroke in either case. You cannot drop
where your ball went in, you must drop from where you initially hit from.
9) All creeks are a lateral water hazard (Red or Yellow stakes) so you may
drop back from the hazard on the line of flight of the ball into the hazard. It is
a penalty stroke.
10) If your tee shot goes in the water, you can drop as far back as you want,
even in the fairway.
11) If your balls goes in the water on your approach shot, you can drop up to 2
club lengths no closer to the hole.
12) Keep up with the pace of play.
